Childish Gambino - CAMP

This is an album you should have.
No, seriously.

Find a way to get CAMP, and then actually listen to it. I don't mean play it in the background while doing your homework or hanging out with the bros. I mean, take 56 minutes out of your life, which can be done in segments if necessary, and devour this piece of music.

Donald Glover's fist two albums I Am Just a Rapper, and I Am Just a Rapper 2 were fine. His third, Culdesac, was also fine, but maybe a little finer. This however, is some next-level action. He's not just singing about girls (though there's plenty of that), not just about screwing your girlfriend (pretty sure that's there too), but moreso singing about his own reality. What it's like to be black, growing up in less than conventional settings and situations, getting his heart broken, and growing from it all. And sometimes not growing from it. You can listen to it HERE for free- thanks NPR! _____________________________________________________
