Sean Pecknold + Fleet Foxes = Drool

The music video for Fleet Foxes' The Shrine/An Argument, is many things...strange, mysterious, breathtaking, disturbing, and fantastically made. The colors alone can make one feel a little queasy while watching, as they seem to mirror autumnal shades that are the same color as internal organs, blood, death and birth, while the textures and shapes function to the same effect.

In this film by Sean Pecknold, nature runs rampant in this display of cyclical creation, focusing on death, life, death again, and quite possibly a sort of reincarnation. There are several things that seem to be up to the viewer, as much art is. Though in my personal view, it cannot be denied that the theme of rebirth makes for a strong case study. Watch, enjoy, watch again, and share. As stated on Vimeo,

"Please watch in HD with headphones or speakers and full screen if you really want to get crazy."
