Le Petit Prints

Technology has now gone so far, that it's managed to 180* on itself. Not that I have a problem with that! Little Printer, an adorable new digital product created by a London-based design group called BERG, acts as a small mechanism to produce a physical copy of whatever you would like from your smartphone. It's inkless, which means that the paper itself is heat-sensitive, thus producing a crisp, clear image with a manageable machine. Imagine trying to install mice-sized ink cartridges!
Pretty neat, huh? Yyyyyeah, I thought so too.

This of course means that the colors are limited to black and white, but when you're printing things smaller than a grocery store list, colors aren't entirely necessary. Check out the video above to see what all Little Printer is capable of...which...is just printing. But it's pretty impressive to watch a teeny tiny printer with perfectly combed hair smile at you and print out a receipt of whatever you'd like.
It's kind of a tease telling you about it now during the Christmas season, since Little Printer won't be available until 2012. If this looks too good to miss though, sign up to join the mailing list, and be the first to find out when pre-order is available.
